The City of Manitowoc retained Robert E. Lee & Associates to prepare plans and specifications for the reconditioning of the 1.25 MG hydro-pillar elevated storage tank. The project consisted of blasting and repainting the interior and exterior of the elevated storage tank. A new Tideflex mixer system was installed for tank mixing and to prevent ice build-up during the cold winter months. The safety climbing devices were upgraded. Miscellaneous hatches, vents, and valves were added or replaced.
