The project consisted of relocating about one mile of CTH Q. It removed CTH Q from STH 29 making it a safer route to travel by eliminating two intersections with STH 29. Half of the two-lane rural roadway was constructed on a new alignment and the other half utilized existing town roads.

Robert E. Lee & Associates provided survey, mapping, design, permits, public relations, and right-of-way plat on the project. A storm water settling basin was installed to treat the storm water runoff.

The Town of Alvin, located in Forest County, retained Robert E. Lee & Associates to prepare plans and specifications for the reconditioning of Fishel Road. The project started at STH 70 and ended at CTH A, a length of about 3 miles. The rustic road winds through mostly U.S. Forest Service Lands. The roadway was pulverized and resurfaced with some areas of reconstruction to improve it to current design standards. Since U.S. Forest Service funds were utilized, the project was designed in accordance within the WisDOT FDM. Robert E. Lee & Associates also performed a wetland delineation on the project.

The City of Peshtigo retained Robert E. Lee & Associates to prepare plans and specifications for the reconstruction of French Street from Ellis Street to the Peshtigo River, Oconto Street from Ellis Street to French Street, and the storm sewer of Ellis Street from French Street to Thompson Street. The City utilized Federal Enhancement Funds, TIF District Funds, and Jurisdictional Transfer Funds for the projects. The projects included the replacement of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, curb and gutter, new HMA pavement, decorative sidewalk, and new traffic signals. The aesthetic features included decorative street lighting, planters, and trees. The project was constructed in the summer and fall of 2012.

The City of Sheboygan retained Robert E. Lee & Associates to provide the plans and specifications to reconstruct five urban projects. The projects included 1,800 feet of Huron Avenue, 900 feet of Wisconsin Avenue, 450 feet of New York Avenue, 500 feet of Center Avenue, 300 feet of 6th Street, 450 feet of Washington Court, 3,400 feet of S. 18th Street, and 450 feet of N. 5th Street. All of the streets were reconstructed with new concrete pavement, new curb and gutter, and partial replacement of the sidewalks. Some of the streets included new sanitary sewer, water main, and storm sewer. The project was constructed in 2011.

The project consisted of one mile of milling and resurfacing on Jordan Road, which was in a deteriorated condition with longitudinal cracking and a number of areas of alligatored cracking. There were many areas of broken curb and gutter that needed to be replaced. In addition, there were several manholes and inlets that were in poor condition and needed to be reconstructed.

Robert E. Lee & Associates provided survey, mapping, design, and construction administration on the project. ARRA funding was used on the project so it was designed in accordance with the WisDOT process.

The project consisted of the reconstruction of a 0.14-mile length of Wisconsin Avenue in the downtown historical district of Neenah. The existing asphalt surface, base course, curb and gutter, and some sidewalk were removed and reconstructed with new base course, concrete pavement, curb and gutter, and sidewalk. A 12.5-foot segment of sidewalk against the business building fronts was left in place along with the existing street lights, planters, benches, and other street scaping items. Prior to the roadway reconstruction, the City of Neenah replaced water main and laterals within the project limits. During the Project Informational Meeting, business owners were asked their preference for the overall approach to construction. The business owners overwhelmingly requested the City allow a minimum of one-way traffic at all times during construction, versus closing the street thereby shortening the project duration. At that point, staging plans were developed to accommodate one-way traffic and parking along one side of the roadway at all times during construction. ARRA Funding was used on the project; therefore, it was designed in accordance with the WisDOT process.

Sanitary sewer, water mains, curb and gutter, sidewalks and roadways along portions of St. Paul Street and Paine Street were deteriorating and, in the case of the utilities, undersized.

Robert E. Lee & Associates worked with the City of Kiel to design and construct upgraded utilities to accommodate increased sewer flows and water demands and to replace existing lead water services. Deteriorated paved surfaces including curb and gutter, pavement, and sidewalks were reconstructed and/or realigned to provide for safer roadways, sidewalks and intersections. Additionally, wider sidewalks near a bus loading and unloading turnout in the school area were designed to provide for improved student safety. The area on Paine St. is immediately adjacent to City hall, police department, a city park and middle school. Construction was coordinated to avoid conflicts with school schedules and maintain access to the other City facilities at all times. Specifically, work was not allowed to begin until school was completed in June, and all work was completed prior to the start of school in late August; a summer festival in the City park was also accommodated during the course of construction. Robert E. Lee & Associates acquired permits from Wisconsin Department of Transportation, and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, as required to accomplish the work.

The Village of Bellevue, located in Brown County, retained Robert E. Lee & Associates (REL) to prepare plans and specifications for the replacement of the bridge on Bower Creek Road over Bower Creek. The existing bridge was in poor condition and needed to be replaced. REL preformed the hydrology and hydraulics on the waterway to determine the type and size of the new structure. The new bridge will be a 40-foot long, single-span concrete bridge with sidewalks and aesthetic treatments. REL completed the survey, approach design, environmental document, and right-of-way plat for the project. The project was designed in accordance with the WisDOT FDM guidelines.
